One of amazing things of living in a small mountain community filled with endless trails is with the change of each season a new trail is born. Now that winter is here the rocky very technical trails of the summer are reborn into amazingly fast trails that feel more like skiing than trail running. One such trail is the Centennial Trail.
Happy Trail Running :-)
Beautiful shots, thanks for posting.
Thanks Alex, there are some amazing trails throughout the Prescott, AZ area. Prescott is also a great mountain biking town, one of the big races hosted here is the Whiskey Row Off Road (http://www.epicrides.com/index.php?contentCat=6)
What are those snow-capped mountains in the distance. Is that the San Fran. Peaks near Flagstaff?
Yep Dan, the San Francisco Peaks (north of Flagstaff) are just a short 1 hour and 45 min drive from Prescott. The Arizona Snowbowl ski resort is on the western side of the peaks, which makes it great for quick ski trip.
